🎵 Getting Started

Tap the play button to start white noise. Use the volume +/- buttons to adjust loudness. Tap the speaker icon to mute/unmute.

🔢 Switching Sounds

Tap the numbered circle (top right) to cycle through four different sounds:

• 1 - White Noise (classic static)
• 2 - Pink Noise (deeper, gentler)
• 3 - Dryer Noise (mechanical hum)
• 4 - Ocean Noise (natural waves)

⏰ Snooze Timer

Tap the alarm icon to enable snooze mode. Use the +/- buttons to set duration (in 30-minute increments). The sound will gently fade out after your set time.

Perfect for falling asleep without playing all night!

🔒 Lock Screen Controls

When playing, controls appear on your lock screen and in Control Center. You can:

• Play/Pause without unlocking
• Skip forward/back to change sounds
• Control from headphones or AirPods

🌙 Background Playback

hushhh continues playing even when:

• Your screen is locked
• You switch to other apps
• Your screen turns off automatically

Just press play and put your device away!

Why can't I hear anything?

Check these:

• Is the play button pressed? (should show pause icon)
• Is the volume turned up in the app?
• Is the speaker icon showing as muted?
• Is your device volume turned up?
• Is your device in silent mode? (background audio still works)

Does it use a lot of battery?

hushhh is optimized for minimal battery usage. Playing audio continuously will use some battery, but using the snooze timer to auto-stop after you fall asleep helps conserve power.

Does it work offline?

Yes! All sounds are built into the app. No internet connection required.

Do you collect my data?

No. We collect zero personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use it with other apps?

Yes! hushhh plays in the background while you use other apps. Perfect for focus while working or browsing.
